Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and detailed assessments to document clients' baseline conditions and progress throughout treatment.
\n
• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
\n
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to facilitate healing and personal growth.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and ensuring a responsive approach to client needs.
\n
• Collaborate regularly with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for our clients.

• Provide referrals to other resources, such as community services or support groups, when appropriate.
\n
• Follow up on clients who require hospital admission, maintaining communication with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers involved in their care.

• Assist families and primary caregivers in understanding mental health challenges and developing strategies to support their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, encompassing individuals across various age groups who experience a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that clients receive tailored and effective therapeutic interventions to improve their mental, behavioral, and emotional health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) within the state of Massachusetts.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex therapeutic concepts clearly to clients.

• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and a genuine desire to assist clients in overcoming mental health challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in mental health counseling, preferably within a telehealth or remote setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to ensure efficient documentation and care coordination.
\n
• Understanding of addiction disorders and co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions affecting clients.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices per the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and familiarity with prescribed drug effects.

Compensation and Benefits\n
