The Human Resource Specialist plays a key role in attracting great people to our team and ensuring every new team member feels welcomed, supported, and excited to be here from day one. In this role, you’ll partner with the Director of People Operations to support recruiting efforts and create an exceptional onboarding experience for new team members. You’ll help candidates navigate the hiring process, coordinate interviews, and ensure every interaction with Redirect Health reflects our culture and values. You’ll also serve as an approachable, in-office presence for new team members—someone they can rely on for guidance as they begin their journey with the company. This is a great role for someone who: Loves meeting and engaging with people Enjoys helping candidates feel excited about joining a team Gets energy from organizing and coordinating hiring processes Wants to help shape a welcoming, people-first team member experience What You’ll Do In this role, you will: Recruiting Support Partner with the Director of People Operations and hiring managers to support recruiting efforts Coordinate interviews and manage scheduling with candidates and interview teams Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process Ensure every candidate interaction reflects a positive, professional experience Support job posting management and recruiting coordination across roles Onboarding & New Team Member Experience Coordinate and lead onboarding for new team members Ensure new team members are set up for success before their first day Facilitate orientation and help new team members understand company culture, expectations, and resources Serve as a welcoming point of contact for new team members as they get started Continuously improve the onboarding experience to make it engaging, clear, and supportive Culture & Experience Be a visible, approachable presence in the office Help create a welcoming and supportive environment for new and existing team members Partner with the Director of People Operations on initiatives that strengthen team member experience and culture How Success Is Measured Success in this role is measured by: Candidates have a smooth, positive hiring experience New team members feel welcomed, prepared, and excited to start Hiring processes run efficiently and smoothly Team members view People Operations as approachable and supportive What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who: Has experience in recruiting, HR coordination, talent operations, or People Operations Enjoys working directly with candidates and new team members Is highly organized and comfortable managing multiple hiring processes Is friendly, upbeat, and confident engaging with people in person Communicates clearly and professionally Takes ownership and follows through on tasks Loves creating great experiences for others Why Join Redirect Health What “Free Healthcare” Actually Means When we say free, we mean no money out of your paycheck and no cost when you need care: No monthly premiums No cost to add your spouse or children No deductibles (we reimburse them) No out-of-pocket maximums This benefit alone can save families tens of thousands of dollars.
