Key Qualifications:

• Current New York SLP license required
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially K-12
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective support and progress monitoring
• Maintain detailed documentation on student progress and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight
• Offer consultation and resources to faculty for enhancing students’ communication skills within the classroom
