We're looking for a hands-on Internet Sales Manager to run the day-to-day execution of our internet sales operations — managing lead response, coaching the internet sales team, and hitting performance targets. The ideal candidate is a strong closer and team leader who thrives on daily execution, coaching, and driving results from internet leads.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day response, follow-up, and conversion of internet leads to maximize sales opportunities, ensuring timely communication through email, phone, chat, and other channels
• Execute the dealership's internet sales process and lead-handling procedures, flagging gaps or bottlenecks to leadership
• Coach and mentor internet sales reps daily on lead handling, product knowledge, and customer service skills
• Track daily and weekly KPIs (appointment set rates, closing rates, sales volume, average gross) for the internet sales team and report results to dealership leadership
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction from initial contact through vehicle delivery, resolving customer concerns as they arise
• Work with the used car and inventory teams to ensure vehicles assigned to internet leads are accurately priced and merchandised online
• Support internet promotions and online inventory accuracy in coordination with marketing and management
• Run daily lead assignment, follow-up cadence, and appointment scheduling for the internet sales team

• Prior experience in internet/BDC sales in the automotive industry, with hands-on knowledge of lead management and desking deals
• Strong coaching and day-to-day team leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to close deals from internet leads and hit individual and team sales targets
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with customers and team members
• Working knowledge of dealership management systems, CRM platforms, and internet sales tools
• Results-driven with a focus on daily and weekly performance metrics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as an Internet Sales Manager or senior internet sales rep at a Ford or domestic dealership
• Familiarity with Ford-specific inventory, pricing, and incentive programs
• Experience training or mentoring junior sales reps
