This opportunity is designed for a licensed LPN with school experience who is committed to providing personalized care in an educational setting. Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure the well-being of a medically fragile student throughout their school day.

Your assignment will begin as soon as possible and continue through June 11, working exclusively on Wednesdays from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM (or until 12:10 PM on early release days). Specific work dates will be provided in advance, and you’ll have the benefit of a consistent schedule that easily fits into your existing commitments.

Required Qualifications:

• Active LPN license in Connecticut
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Ability to work independently with a medically fragile student

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care and monitoring for a student with specialized medical needs
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document health status
• Respond effectively to health emergencies following established protocols
• Serve as a health resource for staff within the school setting
• Maintain confidentiality and foster a positive, supportive environment for students
