New hire incentive of up to $8,000 and relocation assistance are available for those who qualify. This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) working varied 8-hour day and evening shifts. Scheduling flexibility is required throughout the week, including weekends and holidays, as well as participation in the overnight on-call rotation. The position is based at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista and may also include shifts at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego in Hillcrest. In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met: Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter), Must remain in original department/specialty, Must remain in original Job Title, Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications: Required Qualifications: One of the following: 1) Associate of Science Degree Certification in Ultrasound in a school that is accredited. 2) Successful completion of a formal educational program in an AMA approved school of ultrasound with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical in the specialty required. 3) Registered in the specialty that you are applied for by ARDMS or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with at least 1 year of full-time experience required ARDMS or CCI BLS from the American Heart Association Excellent interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: 12 years of ultrasound experience highly preferred. Experience in general, breast, and OB/GYN ultrasound, including second- and third-trimester exams.
