Mechanical Technician I
Newark, CA
Role and responsibilities:
- Support assembly process with kitting efforts, part movements and documentation.
- Perform standardized build activities for high voltage distribution and low voltage wire harnesses.
- Assist in instrumentation efforts through TC creation and inventory checks.
- Organize and maintain the Prototype lab space, equipment, and inventory utilizing 5S and EHS methods.
- Teardown and scrap end of life power electronics to maintain inventory.
- Be part of a team to develop amazing automotive products. Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, components and BOMs.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and build equipment.
Ability to be flexible and responsive.
Hands-on mentality.
Good understanding on how to work safely and efficiently in a lab.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
