Description

• Deliver targeted speech therapy focused on aspects such as communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Engage collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to create uniform care protocols.
• Provide training to patients and families to enhance progress between therapy sessions.
• Support occasional inpatient evaluations and speech therapy interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational mandates.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest advances within the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates who are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
