- Conduct comprehensive evaluations utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Create tailored treatment plans that cater to immediate needs while addressing long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals.
- Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy interventions in areas such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers, to develop cohesive treatment strategies.
- Provide education for patients and their families to enhance progress outside the therapy room.
- Support inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions as needed, ensuring seamless care throughout the patient journey.
- Ensure accurate documentation that complies with all organizational, state, and federal regulations.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain informed of the latest advancements in the field.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
