Payroll Manager
Scorpion Therapeutics
Role Lead payroll operations for a late-stage biopharma company, focusing on accurate, compliant US payroll processing, including equity and bonus management. Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle payroll using ADP Workforce Now. Support equity compensation processing (RSUs, ISOs, ESPP). Supervise payroll team; manage quarter/year-end tax reporting and compliance. Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Tax, and Accounting teams. Ensure SOX compliance, conduct audits, and implement process improvements. Requirements Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related. 10+ years payroll experience with 3+ years in leadership. Public company expertise with SOX, audit, compliance. Hands‑on ADP Workforce Now skills. Strong project management, confidentiality, and team development capabilities. Preferred Biotech or pharma industry experience. International payroll familiarity. High Value Public biopharma environment, focus on compliance and equity reporting, experience with fast‑paced growth, Redwood City location with travel as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr Scorpion Therapeutics
