What You'll Do:
As a MICU Registered Nurse, you'll be pivotal in managing patients with conditions such as oncologic emergencies, COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, sepsis, and more. You'll administer advanced treatments like mechanical ventilation, pulmonary artery catheterization, CRRT, and complex medication regimens. Your expertise will help stabilize and improve lives while working with technologies like EPIC electronic charting and critical care equipment.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in applicable state
• Minimum of 2 years of MICU experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• Proficiency in ventilator management and IV starts
• Experience with computerized charting systems, specifically EPIC
• Strong critical thinking and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with complex procedures such as thoracentesis or bronchoscopy
• Knowledge of clinical trials or plasmapheresis processes
• Bilingual abilities that enhance patient communication

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
• Prior experience in a busy ICU or similar critical care setting

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work the night shift (19:00 - 07:30) on a 3x12-hour schedule
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, or a combination based on unit needs
• Must comply with all hospital policies, including certifications and licensing
