Operations Specialist

Operation SpecialistImmediate need for a talented Operation Specialist. This is a 24+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Rahway, NJ (Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Support day-to-day corporate dining operations and service deliveryCoordinate with third-party suppliers, contractors, and service partnersTrack supplier performance against SLAs, service standards, and KPIsAssist with invoice review and approval, cost tracking, and basic budget monitoringMaintain accurate reports, logs, and operational recordsCommunicate professionally with vendors, internal stakeholders, and team membersSupport issue resolution and follow-up on service concernsHelp ensure compliance with food service, safety, and company standardsIdentify opportunities to improve service efficiency and customer experienceProvide administrative and operational support as needed.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Key skills; Hospitality Operations Experience; Supplier/Vendor Management; Financial & Operational CoordinationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree or equivalent experience preferredMinimum 5 years of hospitality experienceExperience in corporate dining, food service, catering, or similar hospitality operationsFamiliarity with managing or supporting third-party suppliersUnderstanding of service level agreements and performance trackingStrong financial acumen and cost-conscious mindsetProficiency with computers and standard business software, including Microsoft OfficeStrong people skills and ability to build effective working relationshipsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience supporting supplier scorecards, service reporting, or KPI trackingExposure to invoice processing, budget support, or vendor reconciliationKnowledge of workplace dining operations, catering, or food service complianceFamiliarity with reporting tools or basic data analysisCore competencies: Hospitality service mindset, Supplier management, Financial awareness, Attention to detail, Collaboration and teamwork, Accountability, Process improvement.Our client is a leading Pharmaceutical Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
