Application Deadline: 08/03/2026 Position Summary Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects. Identifies customer needs and provides advice and guidance regarding financial solutions that are in the best interests of customers. Works collaboratively within the branch and through various channels with BMO partners to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives. Responsibilities Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects to conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored financial solutions, including everyday banking, retail investments, lending solutions, home financing, and small business solutions. Provide and promote digital and self‑serve options to make banking easy, simple, and fast, and support customer transaction needs based on traffic. Generate appointments, build new relationships within the community, and grow BMO’s business through outreach. Address questions, resolve issues, and ensure accurate data entry and lending application recommendations in compliance with legal, regulatory, and lending policies. Apply the risk management framework to the portfolio, make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions, and protect the Bank’s assets while adhering to risk guidelines. Conduct risk and compliance processes, maintain privacy, and act in the best interest of customers. Maintain current knowledge of personal banking products, practices, trends, and regulatory changes, and identify suspicious activity related to money laundering. Complete complex tasks within given rules, handle escalations, analyze issues, and determine next steps. Qualifications Typically 2–3 years of relevant experience and a post‑secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Canada only: registration to sell investment products completed – as appropriate for the jurisdiction. Appropriate lending qualifications and designations. Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs, retail investments, and lending products. Experience in financial services is an asset. Confidence and experience in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications. Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience. Strong interpersonal skills, listening, problem‑solving, and flexibility. Resourceful self‑starter with courage and confidence to approach customers and collaborate as part of a team. Proficiency in verbal and written communication, organization, collaboration, and analytical skills. Pay & Benefits Salary: $45,900.00 – $75,900.00 (Salaried). Salary ranges may vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. A commission structure may apply, and total compensation may include performance incentives and discretionary bonuses.
