Sales Executive - SG08DE Self‑propelled insurance sales professional who will own a designated Tampa, FL territory to grow broker relationships and drive profitable small‑group business. Responsibilities Own and grow a defined Tampa territory, responsible for broker development, pipeline generation, and sales results. Self‑manage lead generation and maintain a consistent pipeline of independent brokers and agencies. Sell group dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental health solutions to small employers. Develop consultative relationships with brokers, acting as a trusted advisor to design competitive benefits strategies. Balance virtual engagement with in‑market broker relationships, including quarterly broker visits and regional events. Self‑manage territory strategy with oversight from underwriting, sales support, and digital tools. Work toward opportunities to progress into senior sales or leadership roles. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of insurance or related sales experience (employee benefits or agency experience preferred). Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to operate independently while staying aligned with team and business priorities. Comfortable balancing high‑volume virtual engagement with strategic in‑market relationship building. Organized, self‑motivated, and customer‑focused sales approach. License: Accident, Health & Life Insurance license required (or obtained within first three months). Optional: sales experience in SaaS, payroll, HR tech, or staffing. Compensation Base salary of $60,000 per year with incentive compensation that can routinely exceed six figures for top performers. Location & Travel Hybrid work is preferred, with approximately 30–50% travel within the territory. Candidates near a Tampa office may be expected to work onsite 3 days a week.
