Location: Onsite - Washington DC
Type: W2 Contract
Pay: $35hr-$40hr

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to support the email marketing and automation needs of the Society Programs business unit. This role will be part of the Marketing Operations, Technology, and Analytics (MOTA) team and will provide email, automation, and technology support to a variety of stakeholders across Client.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy ad-hoc and recurring email campaigns using the Eloqua Marketing Automation Platform .
Create and execute automated marketing campaigns based on business requirements.
Build emails, landing pages, and forms within Eloqua using WYSIWYG and HTML editors.
Manage the email review and approval process, including testing, proofing, gathering feedback, and obtaining approvals.
Coordinate and maintain the team's email marketing calendar.
Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology , or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing or IT with a focus on marketing automation.
Hands-on experience with Marketing Automation Platforms such as:
- Eloqua
- Marketo
- Pardot
- Similar platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset with the ability to:
- Analyze business requests
- Determine project scope
- Research solutions
- Collaborate with IT and Digital Platforms teams
- Measure project success

Preferred Qualifications

Strong proficiency with Oracle Eloqua .
Basic coding experience with:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
Experience working with AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs), including:
- Microsoft Copilot
- Claude
