Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Prior experience working as an RN in a school setting or with pediatric populations
• Strong assessment, triage, and emergency response skills
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Ability to maintain thorough and confidential health records
• CPR and First Aid certification (current)

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency medical care to students as needed
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and manage chronic health conditions
• Monitor, document, and report communicable diseases as required by policy
• Promote and teach healthy habits and hygiene practices to students and staff
• Coordinate care plans for students with special medical needs in collaboration with teachers and parents
• Maintain an organized, welcoming, and well-stocked Health Room
• Participate in school safety drills and health screenings
• Serve as a trusted resource on wellness and prevention initiatives
