Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This position is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized inventory records. This role supports warehouse operations by verifying shipments, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining proper documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems as needed
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments regarding shipments
- Report damaged or missing items and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with inventory counts and audits
