Human Resources Manager

Our client, a start-up in the nutrition and wellness space, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join the team on a temporary basis. The position is hybrid and based 4 out of 5 days per week at their office in Long Island City. Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is a requirement of this position. Job Details Manage HR operations for non-exempt employee population of 100+ in two locations nationwide Conduct onboardings and orientations Act as a resource for HR questions on policies, benefits, and more Manage leaves of absence, workers’ comp., and unemployment claims Facilitate biweekly payroll, including managing data in timesheet system and HRIS Manage employee relations, conduct investigations, and resolve issues as needed Research, design, and implement HR policies Ensure total compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and statutes Pay Rate: $50-60 per hour, based on experience Time Commitment: 35-40 hours per week, temporary, with potential to go perm!
