Pharmacist - Cambridge, Massachusetts

A healthcare facility is seeking several pharmacists to join their inpatient pharmacy team on a contract basis. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive pharmacy services and requires a candidate licensed in Massachusetts with inpatient experience.


Location:

• Salem, MA

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts

Duration:

• 13 weeks or more, with an ASAP start

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and pharmacokinetics
• Utilize pharmacy IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacist license
• Experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting
• Proficient with pharmacy information systems such as EPIC and Pyxis
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff
