Station Safety Advisor

Conduct regular ramp and above wing safety audits; issue corrective actions or warnings as needed Promote compliance with OSHA, FAA, TSA, and company safety policies and procedures. Lead and participate in safety committee meetings to review data and identify improvement areas. Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and injuries, ensuring timely follow-up and reporting. Collaborate with station and regional leadership to develop and implement corrective and preventative actions. Review and analyze safety metrics, trends and reports to recommend targeted interventions. Support training efforts by identifying safety-related skill gaps and coordinating follow-up or remedial trainings. Engage employees in safety initiatives and reinforce accountability through communication and recognition. Requirements HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent Must have a valid driver's license Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM Reports to work on a regular and timely basis Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language Must be at least 18 years of age if position requires driving GSE equipment Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in conducting safety audits, promoting compliance with OSHA, FAA, and TSA regulations, and leading safety initiatives.
