Role Description The Social Media Manager is a part-time position that guides and creates the mechanisms for an effective overall strategy to make us visible in the online community, highlighting our faith and values. We seek a video editor to create content that performs well on social media from videos and pictures of our worship services, ministries, and outreach.The ideal candidate will be responsive, strategic, and a visual storyteller. You’ll work closely with the ministers and office manager. Pay is $40 hour for up to 8 hours a week. Deadline to Apply is July 24 th . Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to grow and engage online communities. Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills to create clear, compelling, and inclusive messages. Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills to plan and organize campaigns, calendars, and thematic series aligned with church goals. Candidates should possess familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X) and basic analytics tools. Relevant qualifications include experience managing social media for an organization, preferably in a nonprofit, community, or faith-based setting. Additional beneficial qualifications include basic graphic design or video editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams. A high school diploma is required; additional education in communications, marketing, or related fields is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
