Quality Inspector

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Quality Inspector for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Memphis, TN 38116. Details of the position are as follows:


Job Details:

• Pay: $ $29.85/hr to Start!!
• 3 -month assignment, possibility for conversion or extension based on performance and budget.
• Monday- Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CT. (flexible start/end times)
• Position will be mainly responsible for performing first article inspections and quality studies to verify products meet specifications and ensure manufacturing processes and measuring equipment are operating accurately.
• Position will also be responsible for inspecting utilizing measuring instruments and reviewing product documentation to verify product quality, support qualification activities, and maintain compliance with quality system requirements.
• Position will also be responsible for promoting quality and safety standards, supporting departmental objectives, cross-training team members, and performing additional quality-related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED is Required!
• Technical or Quality-related education/certification is Preferred!
• Minimum 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment is Required!
• Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI), Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R) studies, capability studies, dimensional inspections, and using attribute and variable measurement equipment is Required!
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, print specifications, Quality System Requirements (QSR), and conducting receiving inspections is Required!
• Experience supporting product qualification and validation activities is Preferred!
• Experience inspecting raw materials, components, semi-finished and finished products, reviewing quality documentation, and following inspection procedures within a manufacturing environment is Preferred!
