Body and Spine PT is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Fernley, Nevada. Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance that can lead to effective patient outcomes. Our facility is equipped with modern therapeutic tools and technologies to facilitate comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Daily interactions with a variety of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, enrich the collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, including strength, range of motion, and functional mobility.
• Employ advanced diagnostic techniques and tools to identify specific treatment requirements tailored to each individual.
• Develop and implement personalized therapeutic programs, utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and advanced modalities.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, injury prevention, and effective home exercise strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to ensure optimized patient outcomes and a holistic approach to care.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interactions to support continuity of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate should be ready to work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, patients undergoing post-operative rehabilitation, and individuals with chronic pain. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada is required.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Clinical experience, preferably in orthopedic and sports medicine settings, with a demonstrated ability to handle diverse and complex cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective dialogue with patients, families, and team members.
• A strong commitment to patient care and a genuine passion for promoting recovery and wellness.
• The ability to work both independently and as a cohesive member of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Prior experience in designing and executing rehabilitation programs specifically in orthopedic practices.

Compensation and Benefits
