The U.S. Center for Mental Health and Sport (USC-MHS) (501c3) is dedicated to advancing the mental health and well‑being of athletes, coaches, and sports communities across the country. By integrating mental health education into sports environments, we work to reduce stigma around mental health, increase access to resources, and equip leaders with the tools to support those they serve. We build a national network that promotes healthier, more supportive athletic communities at all levels of sport. Member Duties The Development VISTA will strengthen USC-MHS by building sustainable systems in fundraising, communications, and program delivery. The role supports the development of programs and partnerships in building the foundation and scaling of opportunities. Expanding donor outreach and supporting fundraising campaigns. Securing corporate sponsorships. Assisting with grant writing. Planning community fundraising events. Growing social media by creating consistent content, collaborating with athlete ambassadors, and managing a content calendar to increase engagement and reach. Refining the instructor training program by updating training materials, enhancing the LMS platform, and onboarding instructors to build a national network.
