• Title: Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Supervisor
• Location: Southgate, MI
• Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time
• Salary: $35.60 - $48.17 per hour (Based on licensing and experience) + Benefits
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM– 5:00 PM
• Additional Hours: Minimum of 4 hours per week after 5:00 PM, scheduled with supervisor
• Weekends: Based on program/client needs
• On-Call: None

*IMPORTANT LICENSE REQUIREMENT*

Candidates  must hold one of the following active Michigan licenses :

• LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker
• LLP – Limited Licensed Psychologist
• LPC – Licensed Professional Counselor

Full Michigan licensure is required for consideration.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced  Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Supervisor to oversee the administrative and clinical operations of the IDD program.

This position provides leadership and clinical supervision to staff while ensuring quality services, appropriate documentation, regulatory compliance, and person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate is an organized, compassionate, and experienced behavioral health professional who can effectively lead staff, manage crisis situations, and ensure program and funding requirements are met.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to program staff
• Provide ongoing staff supervision, including at least monthly individual supervision
• Manage and respond appropriately to client and program crisis situations
• Oversee treatment records, documentation, reports, and documentation quality
• Provide guidance regarding clinical services and treatment planning
• Conduct and document regular staff meetings
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, scheduling, and disciplinary processes
• Ensure staff maintain required credentials and training hours
• Monitor compliance with  Habilitation Waiver and Children's Waiver requirements
• Supervise case consultations with staff
• Review electronic medical record reports related to productivity, waivers, and program performance
• Train and support staff in the use of the electronic medical record
• Monitor program quality and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with leadership, finance, and other departments to meet funding and budget requirements
• Assess community needs and coordinate appropriate services
• Monitor psychiatric, psychological, case management, and other specialized services
• Support and train staff in  Person-Centered Planning practices
• Ensure services and records meet applicable accreditation and quality standards
• Attend community meetings, conferences, and training programs
• Complete required program and position-specific training
• Complete referrals, reports, documentation, and other required paperwork
• Perform other duties as assigned

-> Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in  Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• Active Michigan  LMSW, LLP, or LPC license
• Minimum 1 year of experience examining, evaluating, and treating children and adolescents
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Experience utilizing relevant treatment modalities
• Ability to meet the requirements for  Children's Mental Health Professional (CMHP)and  Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP)within 120 days of hire
• Valid driver's license and favorable driving record
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to appropriately manage crisis situations
• Ability to provide non-judgmental and culturally competent care
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, staff, providers, and community partners

-> Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with  Medicaid Waivers
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Experience working in an Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities program
• Experience with electronic medical records
• Experience with Children's Waiver and/or Habilitation Supports Waiver programs
