Solutions Engineer

Angove Partners is partnering with a high-growth AI risk platform, seeking a Solutions Engineer in New York. It's an exciting time to join the business, which uses AI to automate merchant onboarding, underwriting, and fraud prevention for financial institutions and is scaling quickly.

The Role

You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering and customer success, acting as the technical bridge between the product and the financial institutions that depend on it. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where you’ll own implementation end to end. From technical discovery through to successful deployment helping customers realise real, measurable value from day one.

What you’ll be doing

• Partner with customers to understand requirements and design the right implementation strategy for the platform’s identity verification solutions
• Guide customers through API integrations and ensure successful product deployment
• Create technical documentation, implementation plans, and solution architectures tailored to specific customer needs
• Deliver technical product demonstrations that showcase the platform’s capabilities
• Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering, feeding customer insight back into the roadmap

What do you need to apply to this role?

• 2+ years’ experience in a technical, product, or customer‑facing role
• Solid understanding of API concepts and web technologies
• Detail‑oriented, with the ability to document requirements clearly
• A natural problem‑solver who’s comfortable navigating ambiguity
• Highly collaborative, and confident translating complex technical concepts for varied audiences

Nice to have

• Experience in solutions engineering, implementation, or technical customer success
• Familiarity with KYC/KYB, identity verification, or financial compliance
