Leasing Consultant

Overview Leasing Consultant – responsible for working with prospective tenants, processing applications, and providing excellent resident service across our communities. Location Bexley Parkstone Schedule Weekdays 9‑6; Saturdays 9‑5 (rotated with the team); Sundays closed. Pay Starting at $21 per hour plus quarterly bonuses (not commission based). Key Responsibilities Engage prospects who inquire about our communities – answer internet leads, phone calls, schedule appointments, and conduct tours. Process leasing applications, prepare lease paperwork, request security deposits, and obtain lease signatures. Deliver outstanding customer service to residents – handle renewals, notice to vacate, early termination, pet additions, and move‑in/move‑out questions. Coordinate with maintenance – walk apartments when ready, verify conditions, monitor work orders, and follow up with residents on maintenance needs. Create a positive move‑in experience and assist residents through move‑out procedures, including security deposit dispositions. Post rent payments and follow up on outstanding balances. Plan, prepare, and host resident activities. Requirements & Qualifications Strong customer service and administrative experience required. Experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or property management preferred. Gracious, warm, and genuine nature. Positive, upbeat, high‑energy demeanor. Ownership mindset and pride in work. Helpful, friendly, and dedicated to excellent customer service. Self‑motivated and proactive throughout the day. Excellent time‑management and organizational skills. Articulate communication skills and strong sense of urgency. Confidence to learn, seek out knowledge, and strive for personal growth. Attention to detail is necessary.
