Account Manager, Beverage Packaging (Atlanta)

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Novelis is seeking an Account Manager to support our North America Beverage Packaging team, based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will manage key customer accounts in a dynamic, supply-constrained environment, helping balance customer demand with plant capacity while driving strong commercial performance.You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless supply, resolving issues, and building long-term partnerships. This role works closely with internal teams across Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Technical Services to deliver reliable service and identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and sustainability.ResponsibilitiesManage strategic can accounts, including demand forecasting, order alignment, and account performancePartner with internal teams to balance customer requirements with production capabilitiesLead resolution of customer issues, including supply and quality challengesBuild strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for growthCollaborate on new product development and sustainability initiativesSupport market analysis, profitability insights, and account strategy developmentWhat We’re Looking ForStrong communication and relationship management skillsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environmentCommercial mentality with a focus on customer value and business performanceExperience working cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, or technical teamsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree required5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related commercial roleStrong analytical and financial skills, with experience assessing profitability and commercial performanceProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointDemonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage customers and internal partnersProven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authorityExperience collaborating across functions such as operations, supply chain, technical, or R&DAbility to travel approximately 30% of the timePreferred QualificationsExperience in the aluminum, metals, or manufacturing industryBackground or exposure to manufacturing operations, technical, or R&D environmentsPlease note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
