Paralegal PositionParalegals work directly with our attorneys to assist them with ongoing cases and prepare them for trial if needed. In addition, they conduct fact-finding projects and are responsible for maintaining all case files. In return you will get the opportunity to work with a great, hard-working team where you will expand your skills and knowledge within the industry.Perform secretarial, clerical, and data entry dutiesMaintain attorney's calendarSchedule depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, mediations, hearingsDocument management using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, AdobeE-file legal documents in Florida's E-Portal SystemAssist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials and conferencesDraft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits and subpoenasSend out correspondence to parties/non-parties via email, regular mail, or certified mailCommunicate with clientsSet up Court Call or Zoom for hearingsPerform additional duties as required by Practice Administrator/Practice Managing AttorneyFull-time, 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F2+ years of litigation experience requiredExperience with the discovery processExperience e-filing in both state and federal courts a plusProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficientlyPossess excellent organization skills and be able to multitask and prioritize workloadTeam-oriented
