Specialist, Business Development (Transactional) – New York, NY A Top 10 AM Law 100 law firm is seeking a Specialist, Business Development (Transactional) to join its New York office on a hybrid basis . This is an excellent opportunity for a business development professional with law firm or professional services experience to partner with attorneys and senior BD leadership on strategic business development, client growth, and market initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage pitches, proposals, and RFPs from strategy through submission. Develop and maintain pitch content, practice materials, and client/experience databases. Support client targeting, cross-selling, and relationship growth initiatives. Assist with client events, speaking engagements, and attorney follow-up. Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Events, Strategic Intelligence, and global BD teams. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 3+ years of business development experience in a law firm or professional services environment. Strong project management, writing, proofreading, analytical, and organizational skills. Experience with InterAction, Foundation, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with attorneys and senior stakeholders.
