F100 USAF Materials Manager - (Onsite)

Position Overview The USAF Materials Manager is responsible for all aspects of material management activities to support the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customers, ensuring that material and contractual requirements are met to support the F100 fleet of engines. Key responsibilities include leading a group of materials analysts, maintaining inventory, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and driving data‑driven solutions for spare‑part sales and supply chain optimization. Responsibilities Meet customer requirements and plan for future needs to enable the F100 program to meet spare‑parts financial commitments. Interface with internal and external organizations and customers to communicate and prepare for material alignment, strategic sourcing, expedited orders, and compliant shipment. Maintain high‑level understanding of customers’ critical pacing material, Pratt & Whitney supplier capacity constraints, and operational context. Analyze data to develop plans or solutions for complex problems and present findings clearly to stakeholders. Co‑manage and optimize the supplier‑initiated order (SIO) program under the USAF Pacer Talon Contract. Manage USAF critical parts to meet or exceed depot and field requirements while managing inventory. Challenge forecast targets against actual consumption, trend maintenance scrap rates, audit system‑generated recommendations, and propose forecast changes. Prepare and present business‑unit reports, both routine and ad‑hoc. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). At least 8 years of aerospace, operations, product or program management, or maintenance experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience. U.S. citizenship; this position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to U.S. citizens. Qualifications We Prefer Previous SAP and customer service experience. Background in material management, forecasting, schedule alignment, and capacity planning. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Data‑driven decision‑making and quantitative analysis skills. Program or customer‑management background. Excel proficiency; Access skills and familiarity with ODM desirable. Proven organizational and project‑management skills. Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD, based on experience.
