Job Summary

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Business Development Manager, also known as a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, with strong expertise in Commercial and Industrial lending. This Los Angeles-based role is ideal for a relationship-driven banking professional who can develop new commercial client relationships, grow an existing portfolio, and deliver customized lending and treasury solutions to business clients.

This opportunity offers a strong platform for a proven commercial banker who enjoys business development, consultative client advisory work, and community-based relationship building. The successful candidate will bring a strong local network, sound credit judgment, and a track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing C&I lending opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial banking relationships across the Los Angeles market.
- Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, community involvement, and centers of influence.
- Structure and originate C&I loans, lines of credit, and related commercial banking solutions.
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and borrower creditworthiness to support sound lending decisions.
- Partner with underwriting, credit, and internal banking teams to facilitate approvals, renewals, and ongoing portfolio management.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk ratings, covenant compliance, client needs, and cross-selling opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $120,000 to $180,000 per year.
- Competitive base salary plus incentive compensation.
