Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Urban Mental and Counseling Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine each client’s unique mental health challenges and needs.

• Delivering individual therapy through evidence-based therapeutic techniques that are specifically tailored based on your clients' circumstances and treatment goals.

• Working collaboratively with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals and monitoring their progress to ensure effectiveness of the therapy provided.

• Providing teletherapy options for clients who may have accessibility challenges or prefer virtual sessions, thus adapting your approach to meet their preferences.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and promote transparency in clients’ treatment trajectories.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development activities to refine your clinical skills and stay informed about the latest therapies and practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population including adolescents, adults, and families grappling with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Hold a relevant master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients, respecting their experiences and challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, contingent on your caseload and professional background. Other benefits include:
