Job Description
A Deskside Engineer provides customer-facing end-user computing support across hospitals, clinics, remote healthcare sites, and assigned field locations. The role focuses on onsite technical support, device deployment, incident resolution, asset control, and compliance with healthcare security and privacy requirements.
- Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, mobility devices, and iMac-related activities.
- Support technology refresh projects, device deployments, and end-user device replacements.
- Resolve incidents and fulfil service requests in line with defined service delivery processes and requirements.
- Manage IT assets, including inventory control, lifecycle updates, custody documentation, delivery, and recovery activities.
- Provide VIP, clinical workplace, and location-based support as required across assigned healthcare sites.
- Perform scheduled route-based visits and support onsite incident, service request, and device-related activities.
- Follow healthcare security, privacy, HIPAA, and site access compliance requirements.
