Your new companyA privately held real estate investment and development firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of five retail shopping centers totaling approximately 250,000 square feet and 50 tenants. The portfolio focuses on neighborhood and value-add retail assets.Take the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.Your new roleAs the Property Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day property operations across the portfolio, including:Managing daily operations, property maintenance, financial performance, and tenant relationsCoordinating and overseeing vendors and contractors, including negotiating scopes of workConducting regular property inspections, scheduling repairs, and ensuring compliance from tenants and vendorsEnsuring properties meet all local jurisdiction requirements, including fire and life safety regulationsHandling project accounting, including accurate income receipting and timely payment of expensesPreparing and maintaining monthly rent rolls and operating budgetsProducing year-end financial statements and lender-required reportingPreparing annual CAM budgets and completing CAM reconciliationsWhat you'll need to succeed5+ years of commercial property management experience, with a strong focus on retail shopping centersCPM or RPA designation preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organizational and analytical abilitiesProven ability to interpret complex lease language and resolve issues involving multiple variablesSolid financial acumen, including CAM budgeting and reconciliationsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Yardi or similar property management softwareWhat you'll get in returnA competitive salary, along with the opportunity to work autonomously while managing a well-maintained retail portfolio.
