Cloud Engineer

Overview Cloud Engineer – Your role is to harness the power of cloud platforms to modernize client IT infrastructure and address their most challenging missions. You will develop cloud‑based solutions, collaborating with architects and engineers, within a DevOps framework and using technologies such as Kubernetes. Responsibilities Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components. Build and manage applications within a DevOps framework, leveraging products such as Kubernetes. Operate and expand internal labs on Azure, AWS, and GCP to prototype and optimize solutions. Partner with stakeholders and teammates to deliver appropriate technical solutions, whether modernizing legacy systems or building new applications from scratch. Qualifications 2+ years administering Windows and Linux operating systems. 1+ year experience with cloud computing, including AWS GovCloud or Commercial. HS diploma or GED. Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+) within 30 days of start date. Preferred Qualifications Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Python. Experience standing up and configuring engineering tools on new and existing infrastructure. Experience developing and automating cloud infrastructure and tools. Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread. Knowledge of DoD security best practices and compliance requirements. Benefits and Compensation Compensation range: $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
