Work Environment

This position allows for an onsite working arrangement where you will engage directly with patients in their homes. Your working hours will fall between Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling options including 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or four 10-hour shifts. The physical therapy home care model promotes a unique bond with patients, enabling you to witness their daily challenges and triumphs, thus tailoring therapy interventions more effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify movement impairments and establish functional limitations.
• Design, develop, and implement personalized therapy plans that address specific patient needs and goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, to promote recovery.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers with knowledge on therapeutic exercises and self-management strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to optimize recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including orthopedic rehabilitation clients recovering from surgery or injury, geriatric patients looking to improve their mobility and quality of life, and individuals managing chronic conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these patients regain strength, flexibility, and functionality, thus enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active Florida Physical Therapist License or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent interpersonal communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with a wide range of clients.
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member dedicated to enhancing the company's mission.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, ideally in a home care setting or outpatient clinic.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and professional background. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
