What You'll Do

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in the cath lab environment
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor complex cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Support procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, PCI, and structural heart interventions
• Administer vasoactive drugs and sedation under sterile technique
• Respond to emergent situations like STEMI, cardiogenic shock, and total occlusions
• Operate and troubleshoot Philips imaging systems and ancillary lab equipment
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and float between facilities as needed
• Assist with patient assessments and critical care monitoring during procedures

What You Need

• Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 3 years RN experience, with at least 1.5 years in Cath Lab within last year
• Ability to scrub, circulate, and monitor complex interventional procedures
• Strong knowledge of vascular and cardiac intervention procedures
• Valid Drivers License for facility float
• XRAY Tech preferred: ARRT, LSRBTE license, at least 2 years' experience, and ability to operate imaging systems and support hemodynamic monitoring
• RCIS certification preferred but not required

About the Assignment

Join a top-level cath lab team performing coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures including STEMI, complex total occlusions, valvular, and structural interventions. The unit specializes in advanced vascular and cardiac interventions with a patient ratio of 1:1. The assignment includes orientation, ongoing support, and the chance to work in a technically advanced environment equipped with Philips imaging systems and modern lab devices. You will be expected to work a 4-week schedule with rotating call, including overnight shifts and weekends, based at a state-of-the-art facility in Shreveport, LA.
