Project Manager - Marketing & Fan Engagement

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact marketing initiatives for a global sports organization. This role is ideal for a highly organized project management professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has experience managing cross-functional marketing projects from concept through execution.

The ideal candidate will partner with marketing, communications, creative, events, and external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of marketing projects, from intake and discovery through delivery and post-launch review.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocation, risk registers, and status reporting for multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, communications, events, legal, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, resolve issues proactively, and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage project budgets, resource planning, vendor coordination, and procurement activities while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring compliance with brand standards and organizational guidelines.
• Analyze project performance, capture lessons learned, and recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Build presentation materials, dashboards, and executive updates to communicate project status, priorities, and outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience supporting marketing, digital, creative, or business initiatives.
• Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of marketing campaign planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Experience using enterprise project management tools such as Adobe Workfront, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, and vendor relationships.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders, creative teams, and external partners.

• Experience supporting marketing organizations within sports, entertainment, media, retail, or consumer brands.
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or other project management certifications.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, Lean, Kanban, or hybrid project delivery environments.
• Familiarity with marketing operations, campaign management, and creative production workflows.
• Experience presenting project updates to executive leadership.
