Medical Assistant - Certified Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant – Internal Medicine

Shift: 8 hours scheduled between 08:00–18:00

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Recent/proficient venipuncture experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Collect specimens, including venipuncture for blood draws
• Take patient histories and perform basic wound care
• Assist with immunizations and medication administration
• Provide phone triage and support to patients

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 160 hours
• Two references required from within the past 12 months, must be supervisor or higher
• Any license or background issues require a written statement and must be fully resolved prior to assignment
