Medical Assistant

Willow Women’s Health is a direct care women’s healthcare clinic specializing in trauma-informed gynecologic care, perimenopause, menopause, sexual health, and whole-person wellness. We are seeking a kind, highly organized, and proactive Medical Assistant (with certificate-level training) or Registered Nurse with an active Ohio license to join our small team. You’ll work both front and back office—rooming patients, drawing labs, assisting with procedures, and helping the clinic run smoothly. This is a part-time position (24-32 hours/week, Mon–Thurs) with no evenings, weekends, or Fridays. We are looking for someone who is independent, strategic, and compassionate—someone who thrives in a mission-driven, non-corporate setting. Responsibilities Room patients, verify history, and collect vitals with warmth and professionalism Perform phlebotomy and manage specimen handling Accurately document in the electronic health record (EHR) Support providers during exams and in-office procedures Assist with front office tasks: answering phones, scheduling, messaging, check-in/out Provide administrative support, including faxing, scanning, and responding to record requests Ensure rooms are stocked and clean, manage supply inventory Collaborate on workflows and bring ideas to improve clinic operations Treat all patients with compassion, respect, and nonjudgmental care—especially those navigating menopause, trauma, sexual health, and hormonal transitions Qualifications Medical Assistant certificate or Ohio RN license Phlebotomy experience required 1+ year experience in women’s health or outpatient care preferred Proficiency with EHRs (experience with eClinicalWorks and Apple devices are a plus) Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence High level of organization, attention to detail, and initiative Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable in a small-practice setting with diverse patient needs About Us Willow Women’s Health is a modern, evidence-based women’s health clinic specializing in midlife transitions.
