Lab Technician

Role Summary The Packaging Lab Technician I provides hands-on support for package testing, laboratory operations, and equipment maintenance in a packaging engineering laboratory. This is an entry-level role focused on: Preparing test samples Running standardized test methods Keeping accurate documentation Maintaining laboratory equipment and work areas so they stay organized and meet quality requirements Key Responsibilities Perform routine package testing under the guidance of engineers and senior technicians Prepare, label, condition, and document test samples Operate laboratory equipment such as: Compression testers, Environmental chambers, Seal strength testers, Leak test systems Record test results and maintain accurate laboratory documentation Assist with calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment Keep the laboratory clean, safe, and organized Support engineers with project activities and completion of work requests Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a laboratory environment Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new testing methods #J-18808-Ljbffr Veterans Sourcing Group, LLC
