Northwest Houston | $18–$20/hour + Excellent Benefits Are you an experienced Customer Service Representative who enjoys a fast-paced environment, helping customers and keeping things moving? Our client is a well-established, family-owned company with a strong reputation for stability, long-term employees and a positive team environment. The company is continuing to grow and is looking for a friendly, dependable Customer Service Representative to join their team.

What You'll Do

• Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls in a professional and friendly manner
• Take customer orders accurately over the phone
• Provide product information and answer customer questions
• Enter orders and information into computer systems
• Process written orders and respond to customer emails
• Multitask between phone calls, order entry and written requests
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure orders are handled accurately and efficiently
• Learn the company's products, systems and processes

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of customer service or high-volume call center experience preferred
• Strong phone and communication skills
• Experience taking orders, processing customer requests or working in an order-entry environment
• Comfortable working with multiple computer programs and systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Dependable with a strong desire and ability to learn
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with AS400 or other ERP/order-entry systems is a plus!

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Training schedule: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
