Requirements
• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• ACLS
• Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
• Strong first assist experience
• EVH/vein harvesting experience with demonstrated independent ability
Clinical Details
• Assisting in:
- CABG - Open heart surgery - Valve repair/replacement
• Required procedural experience:
- EVH/vein harvesting - Endoscopic radial artery harvesting - Sternotomy closure - Chest tube placement - Central venous line placement - Arterial/venous sheath placement - SFA exposure - Impella management
• Additional responsibilities:
- CV ICU management - Critical care management - Pre-op and post-op care Support Staff
• 2 RNs
• 1 MA
• 1 additional PA/NP
