Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy strategies for each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards to protect client confidentiality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrist consultants, to deliver holistic client care and support.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse client base comprised of individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our goal is to provide effective support to those who may have limited access to traditional mental health resources. Through your empathetic approach and individualized strategies, you will help clients navigate their personal journeys toward wellness and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting, is essential.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice is necessary.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients from various backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and telehealth platforms to enhance client interaction and documentation.
• A proactive approach to professional development, including participation in relevant trainings and workshops.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience and caseload availability. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as malpractice insurance coverage. You can also expect support in practice development through client referrals and assistance with billing and documentation to reduce your administrative burdens.
