Documentation Coordinator Location: Kongsberg Maritime - Propulsion & Handling, Kristinehamn, Sweden

About the Role As a Documentation Coordinator at Kongsberg Maritime, you will be the hub of the documentation process within our projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that customer documentation deliveries are accurate, complete, and delivered on time, while meeting contractual, internal, and external requirements. In this role, you will coordinate the documentation process for selected projects and work closely with engineers, project managers, and other support functions. You will monitor and follow up on customer documentation deliveries and actively contribute to the creation of documentation to ensure that deliveries are complete, accurate, and submitted on schedule. As a Documentation Coordinator, you will also help ensure that project documentation follows the appropriate security classifications and is handled in accordance with the specified classification requirements. Depending on business needs, the role may also involve creating instructions and user manuals for Kongsberg Maritime’s various products. The manuals are structured according to internal standards and the ASD S1000D 2.3 specification. The work is carried out using XML-based tools (Ultra and CSDB). We provide a thorough onboarding program and ensure you receive the support needed to grow into the role. As we work with customers within the naval defense sector, questions regarding citizenship will form part of the recruitment process. The position requires successful completion of a security clearance in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act before employment can be offered. The position is based in Kristinehamn, Sweden . About You We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technical documentation who wants to develop in a role where organization, quality, and communication are at the core. You can communicate clearly in both spoken and written form and have a strong ability to collaborate with different functions across the organization. We would like you to have: Experience or education in technical communication, documentation management, or a related field. An interest in technology and marine products. The ability to structure information in a clear and understandable way. Experience working in IT and systems environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with XML-based tools and the S1000D standard. Experience with document management systems, such as ProArc.
