Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift - 24 hours per week - Part time - 3C Medical Stepdown

Job Overview Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 24 hours per week on the Night Shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) at the Christiana Hospital 3C Medical Unit Stepdown. Weekend and holidays are scheduled per department guidelines. Responsibilities Deliver holistic, patient- and family-centered care to ensure patient comfort and positive outcomes. Provide medication and disease process education. Closely monitor patients and manage any emergencies that may arise. Assume responsibility for a 4–5 patient assignment. Provide care to patients with diagnoses such as Respiratory Failure, COPD, Acute Renal Failure, GI Bleed, DKA, Sepsis, and others. Utilize telemetry monitoring, non-ventilator dependent trach collar, High Flow Nasal Cannula management, wound care, and related skills. Qualifications BSN required. ADNs candidates may be considered if they commit to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire. At least one year of acute or sub-acute care experience preferred. BLS required. Hourly Pay Range Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 – $66.05. This rate represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
