Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Purchasing Coordinator who is committed to accuracy, follow-through, and strong supplier relationships. This role is primarily in-office, as collaboration, visibility, and hands-on partnership with our team are key to success in this position. Key Responsibilities Create and manage purchase orders with vendors Evaluate suppliers by considering price, quality, availability and other criteria Work closely with internal teams to gather requirements, communicate order status, deliver orders and address questions and issues efficiently Negotiate with vendors and supplies to obtain the best-delivered price Manage supplier relationships to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors Authorize payments and maintain receipts, records and inventories Support department and organization needs through additional duties, as assigned Qualifications 2+ years of purchasing and price negotiation experience Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems and basic computer skills Organized with the ability to multi-task Self-motivated and able to prioritize workload accordingly Ability to meet deadlines and provide excellent internal customer service #J-18808-Ljbffr
