Senior Pega Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in Pega Platform, Pega Cloud, Distributed Energy Services (DES), Customer Project Management Systems (CPMS), PowerClerk, Project Center, and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams by gathering enterprise requirements, designing scalable workflow and case-management solutions, and supporting end-to-end delivery across Agile development environments.

This role requires hands-on experience working with Pega case types, workflows, business rules, integrations, UI requirements, and platform capabilities, along with strong documentation skills and the ability to collaborate with Product Owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into Pega case types, workflows, business rules, integrations, and UI requirements.
• Analyze existing applications and system functionality to identify improvements, troubleshoot issues, and support resolution efforts.
• Create process flows, data models, wireframes, data mappings, and interface specifications using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar platforms.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including System Design Documents (SDDs), SOPs, user guides, requirements traceability matrices, and workflow documentation.
• Support Agile delivery processes including Sprint planning, backlog refinement, Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, UAT planning, release activities, defect triage, and go-live readiness.
• Validate system functionality through test case review, execution support, and collaboration with QA teams.
• Perform data analysis using SQL, Excel Power Query, and Pivot Tables to validate requirements, reporting needs, and application outputs.
• Work with development teams to support Pega application design, configuration, performance optimization, and platform enhancements.
• Provide functional support for Pega Cloud environments, including workflow optimization, case management improvements, and application troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with teams implementing AI, Agentic AI, and GenAI capabilities within enterprise workflow solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong hands-on experience with Pega Platform / Pega Cloud and enterprise case management solutions.
• Experience with Pega development concepts, workflows, case types, rules, integrations, UI design, and platform performance.
• Experience in Distributed Energy Services (DES), utilities, energy platforms, or customer project management systems preferred.
• Experience with PowerClerk, Project Center, Salesforce, and enterprise workflow applications.
• Strong experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical documentation.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills with experience validating system data and reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting UAT, production releases, defect management, and application troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of AI/Agentic AI/GenAI solutions integrated with enterprise applications is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Pega Business Analyst, Pega Functional Consultant, or Pega Technical Analyst.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise workflow and case-management implementations.
• Understanding of cloud-based application architectures and integrations.
• Experience working with utilities, energy, or customer operations platforms.
