Field Application Engineer

Salary: $91,900 - 175,175 per year Requirements:

• Typically, a four-year degree and at least five years of related experience, an advanced degree with no experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience supporting semiconductor products and embedded-system designs is preferred; familiarity with NXP microcontrollers, processors, analog, connectivity, automotive, or power-management solutions is strongly preferred.

• Serve as the dedicated technical liaison among Arrow, NXP, and customers, providing application support and technical leadership to advance design registrations, design wins, and revenue growth.
• Identify customer needs and create demand by bringing Arrow and NXP solutions into customer designs, drawing on engineering, design services, and other resources to shape effective solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams on pre- and post-sales work, technical consulting, customer research, and design support; build sales-team alignment around engineering investment, design priorities, NXP initiatives, and promotions.
• Lead NXP-related design registrations, design wins, opportunity development, pipeline management, and technical engagement across assigned accounts and territories.
• Maintain product, application, and market knowledge by participating in NXP and Arrow training, workshops, technical conferences, and calls.
• Build relationships with NXP, customer, and Arrow stakeholders; communicate activity, plans, and progress, manage expectations, and develop connections with key decision-makers.
• Work with NXP field sales, applications engineering, business development, and product teams to identify, develop, and close strategic opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews; develop technical plans for NXP products and customer solutions, support branch training and customer calls, and organize customer events, workshops, and technology seminars.
• Participate in a sales compensation plan, with a portion of on-target earnings tied to sales goals set by Arrow.

The position is hybrid, with one day in the office and four days on the road or working from home; remote employees may be asked to visit their nearest designated Arrow office for work-related needs. This sales-category role offers an annual hiring range of $91,900 to $175,175, with final compensation determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and skills.
